Review: Matrix 6 Mega Bright Eye Gel

Disclaimer: I was sent this product for review from OZ Naturals, with no compensation other than the product to try out. The following post consists of my honest thoughts & opinions about the product!

For as long as I can remember I’ve had somewhat noticeable (dark/puffy) circles under my eyes…and for just about as long, I’ve been trying out different “un-puffing” “brightening” “caffeinated” “cooling” etc. products to try to fight the circles – pretty much unsuccessfully. If I’m being truthful with myself, it’s probably in part because of not getting enough sleep and/or being dehydrated, but I’ve continued the hunt for a product that works like it says it does! Soooo when I was approved to review OZ Naturals Mega Bright Eye Gel, I was super excited to give another product a try!

I took a selfie for 6 days (it’s crazy how much lighting can change how a person looks – geez) to see if I could see my circles improving, and although I was skeptical (due to past experiences) – I was super surprised to actually see results by the 6th day! I tried to remember to put it on twice a day, sometime in the morning, and sometime before bed. Not sure if that helped at all, but I felt like I was doing something helpful!

Two hair related side notes: 1) I haven’t used a blowdryer on my hair since our wedding day. 2) I can’t get over how long my hair is.

PROS:

-I’m actually seeing some results! (this is really the biggest, and only necessary pro to me, but I’ll add a few more.)

-All natural!

-Scent free

-You can use it on your whole face if you want – I did once 🙂

CONS:

-The tightening sensation. Some people may really like this, since you can kind of “feel it working” – but to me it just feels like theres something on my skin that shouldn’t be there. I’ve sucked it up though, and clearly the results are worth it.

-If I put it on even slightly too thick, it ends up awkwardly peeling off as it dries. Not the end of the world, but I’ve found myself doing a quick under eye check before going out in public 😛

The pros (primarily the fact that it works) definitely outweigh the cons in my book – it also helps that it won’t break the bank (currently on sale for $19.95)! If you’ve been looking for a way to fix your puffy circles, I can definitely recommend that you give it a try – find it here: http://amzn.to/1GyWAYa

Note: I don’t get anything special (…or anything not special) if you make a purchase.
